Biltmore Estate at Christmastime

Last weekend, we took a trip out to Asheville, NC as part of our annual trek to see interesting places around Christmastime. We went a little earlier this year because I’m going to have to go to France before Christmas, which made it difficult to schedule a family trip around all of our other activities.
We visited the Biltmore Estate during the day and went back to see it at night. Unfortunately, you are not allowed to take pictures inside the mansion, so we had to settle for this exterior view. It’s probably just as well that they don’t let people take pictures inside because it takes long enough to see the house without having to wait for everyone to finish shooting.
