Thanks for your comment. You can download the scut file by using the “save as…” function of your browser. This is usually accessed with the right mouse button. Alternatively you can save the XML that appears directly as an scut file. Both svg and scut are based on XML, so that’s what you see on screen.

Hi,

Just a quick note. First, the snowflake is beautiful. Thank you so much for posting it. I want to make my own very much. Second, I had an issue when I tried to download the SCUT file. When I went to the link I got only a page of XML instructions. I was able to download the SVG but you mentioned that due to the complexity of getting the SVG positioned perfectly it would be better to use the SCUT. Am I doing something wrong?

So I don’t know why I couldn’t find this before when I was looking. Here’s a site that shows how to make this pattern without a Cricut. It has good close up pictures of the assembly process that are easier to follow than my instructions. If you are using the Cricut pattern, you can start following their instructions form Step 5.
