One of the most fun, spur of the moment things that we did during our recent vacation was to stop at a farm near Silver Lake to pick blueberries.  It was a gorgeous day, and we had a great time.  The blueberries were ripening beautifully and were absolutely delicious.  I think we put more in the bucket than we ate, but I can’t be 100% sure.

We ended up making ourselves stop at six pounds (in the buckets anyway–like I said, I have no idea how much we ate).  The girls made sure to eat some of the berries during every snack time for the rest of the trip.

Sandi used the rest to make blueberry jam that we are still enjoying.
