I made a scrapbook page about out trip to the Atlanta Zoo while we were on Spring Break.  We had a good time.  My favorite part was when we saw the panda that looked dead.  He was just sleeping though.

There is a baby panda at the zoo who is only 1 and a half years old.  Her name is Mei-Lan.  Mommy bought me a panda Webkinz and I gave my stuffed animal the same name.

Pandas are becoming extinct because it is hard for them to survive in the wild.  The Atlanta zoo is lucky to have 3.

When we go on vacation, one of the things we try to do is find interesting places to visit in-between the major stops we have planned.  After we decided we were going to go from Atlanta to Savannah during the trip, we found that Macon happened to have a Cherry Blossom Festival at the same time that we were going to be there.

So we stopped in Macon to see what was going on.  As it turned out, the festival proper was pretty small, but they did have a nice self-guided tour that we took to see many of the blossoming trees in town.  We had hoped to find a nice place to take pictures of the girls in their Easter dresses, but we just couldn’t find the right spot.

The most interesting thing at the festival was the tiger show, presented by a group that runs a tiger preserve and research facility in Florida.  We got see 4 different types of tiger, including one variety that has almost disappeared in the wild.

The pink dog mascot named Petals, whose picture I posted a few weeks ago, was pretty cool too.  :)

It’s been a while since we took a picture of Sandi and the girls together, so since we had the photography equipment out today anyway, we decided to get one while we had the chance.

Carissa’s ninth birthday is next Friday, so it’s time for the annual birthday picture.  Without further ado, here it is:

I am making a new scrapbook.  Here is the first page!

Here’s the page I made for my scrapbook about our trip to the Coca-Cola Museum.

I stumbled upon a blog about Coke Art, which I thought fit nicely with Sadie’s latest scrapbook page.  If you scroll down a bit, there are several examples of the types of displays that we saw at the Coke Museum.

I made this for mommy for mother’s day.  I love you, mommy.  Do you love me?  I hope you like my picture.

This is what I made for Mom for Mother’s Day.  Dad and I worked hard on it.  I really liked to use the Dymo machine to make the words!  I played with it all day until it ran out of tape and Carissa had to use a different color.

I made this for Mom for Mother’s day.  It didn’t take me very long.  I picked out the paper, and I stamped the flowers and coloered them.  I helped Dad pick out the words.  I had fun making it, even though it was messy.  I got ink all over my fingers.

As always, click on the picture to see a larger version.
